Job description
A fast growing wholesale and retail company at Newark CA 94560 is looking for a warehouse / shipping clerk to join our team. This is a full time job (40 hrs/wk). Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Unloading containers
- Receive, Sort and process product into specified categories
- Inventory control • Pull/Pick orders
- Preparing, packing and wrapping orders for shipments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Act as production worker assemble materials to create finished product, training will be proved
Qualification:
- High school grad or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to operate pallet jack
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Must be Able to understand Pick Order, Bills of Lading, delivery receipt, etc.
- Shipping experience with UPS, FedEx, and USPS is preferred
- Interact with shipping/freight companies to get quotes • Knowledge of general PC business applications is preferred
- Must be able to maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) a plus but not required
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, punctuality and reliability
- Must be able to show proof of citizenship or right to work in the US
- Any pre-existing injury needs to be disclosed
