Bliss Distribution is a rapidly expanding UK based distributor of toys, games & trading cards.We are dedicated to giving the best possible customer service with same day despatch.Introduction to the roleAs a warehouse operative, you will be responsible for the picking and packing of orders. New release days are incredibly busy so you will need to be able to work well under pressure.You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace within the warehouse by ensuring that the warehouse remains tidy.Job responsibilitiesPicking and packing ordersLoading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truckPalletising and wrapping palletsPutting stock away in the correct locationEnsuring new items are brought up to the office for verificationMaintain cleanliness of workspace and warehouse to a high standardSupport physical stock counts as and when requiredFollow and adhere to safe working practices and Health and Safety at all times12 months warehouse experienceEssential SkillsPC competenceAttention to detail & accuracyGood organisational skillsAble to work under pressureCompany BenefitsHoliday entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days based upon length of service)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pmPosition: Full timeBonus SchemePlease note that due to high volumes, only short-listed candidates will be contacted for a first stage telephone interview with a view to arranging a face-to-face interview.
