WAREHOUSE PICKER
JOB ROLE
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
- This position would suit someone with warehousing experience.
- Full product and system training will be given.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring goods are picked and packed as per the relevant paperwork, using a scanner and SAP B1
- Reworking stock when applicable to customers standards and requirements
- Annual yearly stock count
- Taking responsibility for a company’s property, goods and equipment by reporting any suspicious activity at work
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors and via our reporting app
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, using a hand-held scanner
- Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Physical strength, fitness and dexterity, as they often have to lift heavy packages or work at elevated heights
- Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of a warehouse team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs, such as warehouse management systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
- Resilience under pressure.
- Passionate about delivering a good customer experience/journey.
- Good time management
WHAT WE OFFER
- Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
- Hourly paid, rate above average
- O/T if required is time and a half
