Job description
World of Garden Products is an independent Ecommerce business specialising in the sale of Weber BBQs, Irrigation systems, and garden furniture.
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit stock picker and packer to join our team of 8 people. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This is a full-time role that may require working 6 days a week during the busy season (May to July). The successful candidate will be part of a friendly team that enjoys a positive work environment and occasional BBQ food tasting for recipe filming.
Responsibilities:
- The day starts at 7.30 and finishes at 6pm
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures and guidelines
- Ensure accurate and timely packing of products, including large parcels weighing up to 30kg
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all products are packed correctly and meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the stock picking and packing area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth order fulfillment and shipment processing
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Participate in occasional recipe filming for social channels, including BBQ food tasting
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and stock replenishment as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in stock picking and packing, preferably in an Ecommerce or warehouse environment
- Ability to lift heavy items, up to 30kg, and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
