Warehouse & Packing Operative

Full time 40 hours per week – Permanent Role
Monday-Friday – Flexible hours to be discussed in interview. Ideally 10-6pm or 11am-7pm.

Lilley’s are seeking an Warehouse & Packing Operative for an immediate start.

The candidate will ideally have experience working in a warehouse environment & have a hard-working self-managing attitude. The candidate must be hard-working & prepared for a physically demanding role. Good time keeping & communication skills are necessary. Attention to detail is essential & must have a good awareness of Health & Safety.

Main duties to include but are not limited to

• General warehouse duties such as preparing/unloading pallets.
• Goods in processes
• Courier packing
• Ensuring our warehouse is kept clean & tidy. This will involve sweeping, rotating stock, jet washing equipment & ensuring surfaces are tidy for the following day.
• Keeping the yard clean and tidy.
• Replenishing stock where needed.
• Multi-drop deliveries to bars, restaurants & shops using one of our fleet vans to cover when driver shortage. A driving license is essential for this role.

The candidate must have a driving license and be 21+ due to insurance. A forklift license would be preferred however training will be provided for the ideal candidate. Salary to be negotiated during the interview process but meets National Living Wage.

Salary: £10.50-£12.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Overtime
