We are a family business with a busy eCommerce site, factory, workshop and onsite shop. With 40 years experience, we are industry leaders in the dinghy sailing market with an ongoing expansion across the surface water sport sector.
As proud British manufacturers our factories produce clothing garments, boat covers, sails, and more whilst our workshops develop boating parts, trollies, trailers, undertake various boat maintenance and provide outboard engine servicing.
Aside from manufacturing our own branded goods, we are stockists of other major sailing brands in clothing, boat care and chandlery. The website offers over 3000 products and attracts a customer base which stretches across the UK, throughout Europe and around the world.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Pick and pack of customer orders
- Check and book in deliveries
- Work within our CRM/ ERP system
- Deal with customers on the shop counter
- Take on other tasks as required to support the smooth running of the office and warehouse operations
The ideal candidate:
- Be competent in using computer systems
- Be willing and able to learn our CRM/ ERP computer system Magento
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have organisational skills, to independently balance workloads to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Be forward thinking and problem solving in a busy environment
- Have a positive can do attitude and approach the role with enthusiasm
- Be a key team player, as a small business this is a must!
- Having an interest in the sailing or watersport market would be preferable, but is not a requirement
