Bova Specials UK Limited (Bova UK) is a manufacturer of veterinary medicines that is regulated by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD). Bova UK holds a ManSA license (Manufacturer ‘Specials’ Authorisation- (Veterinary) to manufacture sterile and non-sterile products.
The stringent regulations set out by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is testimony to the quality of medications produced at Bova UK. The well-established quality culture ensures that the business remains compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good laboratory practices (GLP).

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities
1. To collect orders from the Customer Service Team
2. To sort completed order paperwork into numerical order and hand over to documentation team
3. To gather raw material/consumables for production, spray and wipe with IMS and place in hatch. Complete raw material/consumables paperwork.
4. To populate monitoring logs and report deviations to supervision
5. To bring in the waste bins following weekly collection
6. To clean facilities, plant, equipment, consumables and finished products using approved products/techniques and to approved standards
7. To ensure the working environment is maintained in a tidy state and to report the need for maintenance or repair work to Warehouse Manager/Operations director
8. To place all appropriate leaflets, syringes and scoops are placed into checked bins.
9. To pack orders
10. To clean lab bins with IMS spray and place in airlock (at the end of the day)
11. To prepare Ice blocks ready for use
12. To stock packing area with relevant packing materials (boxes, tapes, scoops etc.)
13. To answer internal phone calls promptly and in a concise manner.
14. To comply with the organization’s documentation policy.
15. To assist with the filing and administration of documentation
16. To proactively contribute towards changes and developments
General Skill Set required for the role:
1. Minimum education to GCSE or equivalent;
2. Demonstrate an ability to read and interpret documents which relate to health & safety and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
3. Must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of time management, following instructions and organizational skills;
4. Must possess exemplary computer skills and knowledge and be able to adapt to and learn any new computer software that may need to be implemented;
5. Must be able to execute the physical demands required for this role including manual handling of equipment and materials;
6. Must demonstrate a willingness to work with chemicals in the knowledge of potential side effects, and must ensure that all staff follow the procedures to ensure the safe handling of hazardous chemicals;
7. Must demonstrate an ability to conduct complex procedures in an environment in which the noise level may be moderate, and be accurate and prompt;
8. Must demonstrate an ability to perform repetitive work within a busy manufacturing environment
9. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills with other staff, suppliers, and customers
10. Must be able to work on a multi-departmental level within the organization to accomplish the overall business goals
11. Respond to correspondence (phone, email, mail or other) in a timely and efficient manner;
12. Other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management on an ad hoc basis.

Salary: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
