Job description
JOB PURPOSE:
The post holder will work as part of a team to ensure that materials are delivered on time and in full to key production areas and will work to prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the work schedule. Working always with a professional approach, it will be individual’s responsibility to operate in an effective and timely way adhering to Health and Safety and Operating Processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Using a computerised system to unload and receive materials and products.
Issuing board in accordance with operating plan when required.
Returning unused board in the racking area and uploading information to data system.
Cutting board as and when required.
Stock checking and cycle counting when necessary.
Loading lorries using the dispatch log in preparation for next day shipments and completing appropriate system transactions.
Collate reports for day to day execution of tasks (Work to lists, Pick Lists, Delivery Dockets, Certificates of Conformance's).
Transfer of stock within warehouse and complete the transfers on system.
Retrieving jobs from racking as and when required.
Maintenance and safe handling of equipment.
Preparing customer returns.
Deliver pallets to glue room upon request.
Ensure that all working practices are compliant with the requirements of the company’s internal Quality, H&S and Environmental managements systems and/or polices.
Comply with all housekeeping duties.
