Job description
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative Picker to join our team who will report to the Digital Content and Customer Care Specialist. This position will involve warehousing duties such as picking and packing orders, inventory support and other assorted tasks, all whilst complying with relevant warehouse health and safety procedures. No experience required as on the job training will be provided.
A successful candidate will understand the importance of proper warehousing procedures, compliance and adherence to health and safety procedures, error free picking and packing of orders, and performance of other related duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Picking and packing orders
- Good team player as part of the distribution
- Carefully packing the items so that our items are not damaged
- Packing items in a timely manner
- Proper usage of warehousing equipment
- Liaising with customer service and (other suppliers) regarding stock (ie. low on stock, or can’t find stock etc).
- Cleaning of warehouse
- Bringing in palettes of wine and allocating
- Stock management - receiving deliveries and allocating stock to locations
- Adherence to health and safety procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
- Can do attitude
- Self starter
- Ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional communication skills
- Computer Literate
- Driver’s Licence and car (Looked upon favourably)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25- 30 per week
Salary: £12.50 per hour
