Role: Warehouse Operator
Responsible to: Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose:
To check and locate customer goods.
To pick orders for customers
To pack and consolidate customer orders.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Load and Unload Trucks if required.
- Check goods in against delivery notes.
- Locate goods within the Warehouse.
- Conduct Cycle Counts if / when required.
- Pick customer orders.
- Prepare goods for shipment.
- Consolidate customer orders.
- Report any problems or issues during the shift to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure you adhere to H&S regulations at all times
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Any other duties which may be required from time to time commensurate with the role.
Equipment:
The following equipment may be used on a regular basis and must be used safely:
- Forklift trucks, both counter-balance and reach
- Hand-held strapping tools
- Hand-held scanners

Previous experience of working in a factory or warehouse environment
