GAC UK is looking for candidates for the role of Warehouse Operator to be based in Aberdeen. Could it be you?

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to be based at our Aberdeen office.
The key responsibilities are:
- Ensuring all activity is carried out to the highest standards and with a proactive QHSSE approach
- Liaising with logistics colleagues, warehouse, and clients to ensure requirements are met both verbally and via e-mail.
- Ensuring all cargo is safely handled and stored
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Goods in, line checking and put away – both physically and using our in-house stock management system.
- Completing pick and packs for North Sea and international freight and processing through systems.
- Packing and securing of containers for shipping.
- Forklift duties – loading/unloading transport, put away in warehouse/yard.
- Management of communication media and efficient monitoring and processing of e-mail requests and queries.
- Inclusion in duty rota (after suitable competency level established)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Have a good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture
- Experience using Microsoft office products
- Attention to detail
- A desire to continually improve
- Counterbalance and reach truck forklift licence (not essential as training can be arranged)
