GAC UK is looking for candidates for the role of Warehouse Operator to be based in Aberdeen. Could it be you?

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to be based at our Aberdeen office.


The key responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring all activity is carried out to the highest standards and with a proactive QHSSE approach
  • Liaising with logistics colleagues, warehouse, and clients to ensure requirements are met both verbally and via e-mail.
  • Ensuring all cargo is safely handled and stored
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Goods in, line checking and put away – both physically and using our in-house stock management system.
  • Completing pick and packs for North Sea and international freight and processing through systems.
  • Packing and securing of containers for shipping.
  • Forklift duties – loading/unloading transport, put away in warehouse/yard.
  • Management of communication media and efficient monitoring and processing of e-mail requests and queries.
  • Inclusion in duty rota (after suitable competency level established)


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Have a good understanding and appreciation of a proactive safety culture
  • Experience using Microsoft office products
  • Attention to detail
  • A desire to continually improve
  • Counterbalance and reach truck forklift licence (not essential as training can be arranged)
