Bakkavor Spalding has three factories based on the same site in Spalding, Lincolnshire, employing over 600 people. These production units produce soups, sauces, dips as part of our meals range as well as salad accompaniments such as pasta salads, sandwich wraps and food to go salads. To ensure that our products reach our clients when they should we also have an onsite Distribution Centre and we have an amazing opportunity to work as one of our Warehouse Pickers.
In this busy and fast-paced role, you will work closely with other members of our production team, which will include a lot of manual work, performing various warehouse operative duties including picking orders, pelleting, shrink-wrapping and moving pallets using hand pumps and other equipment once trained. You will be working in a team ensuring Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures are followed at all times.
This is a fast-paced role but the shifts will fly by and you’ll always have something to do. We will provide you with all appropriate PPE and full training to complete your role.
We are looking for individuals who have previously worked in similar role within a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment who have a good understanding of food safety best practice, know how to work as part of a team, have an excellent attention to detail.
