Come and Join us as a Warehouse Operative!
3PL Resources, part of the Cathay Group, are recruiting for a large warehousing and distribution company, to work directly for them on a temporary basis. You will be joining a large but friendly team with guaranteed weekly work for reliable candidates. We have full time and part time positions available for Warehouse operative's
- Pay rates to start at £9.50.
- Experience as a warehouse operative is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Under 18s are welcome.
- Multiple shifts available.
- Must have the Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Heavy lifting involved
- Manual lifting of goods.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system.
- Performing stock checks using a hand-held Radio Frequency (RF) scanner.
- Creating carrier labels.
- Where necessary, provide services such as relabelling, over boxing, security tagging, etc.
- Accurate and efficient picking of orders using a hand- held RF scanner then transporting them to the loading bay for despatch.
- Ensure orders are packaged, wrapped and labelled correctly to prevent any returned or damaged orders.
- Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
- Performing housekeeping and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
- Keeping aisles free from any mess or hazards; including sweeping aisles, removing shrink wrap from pallets, clearing the yard and generally keeping work areas tidy and clear of obstruction.

- Receive the same basic employment and working conditions i.e. Basic Pay, overtime rates and Holiday pay and SSP (Based on AWR).
- After 3 months you will be eligible for our optional Pension scheme.
- Plenty of availability for overtime should you wish, however due to health and safety no more than 60 hours per week.
- A range of shifts available.
- Under 18s cannot work more than 5 days a week, cannot work night shifts and are entitled to 30 min rest break if the assignment lasts more than 4.5 hours.
