Warehouse Operative

Sabio Recruitment is currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a National Site Supply company in Peterborough. They are looking for candidates with a good attitude to work, adhering to health and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing of customer orders, via picking slip or hand held devices
• Checking of picked goods to ensure successful pick rate
• Securely and properly packing orders in preparation for dispatch
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean and tidy
• Maintain the cleanliness of warehouse areas and equipment
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by your managers

Skills

• Proven experience as a warehouse worker or similar role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well with others (team spirit)
• Good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina

This is a temporary role with longevity for the right candidates.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary: £10.42-£11.02 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Peterborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
