Working Week:

  • Mon – Fri 5am – 2.00pm

Vacancy Short Description:

  • Working within the warehouse team, picking orders, checking stock and cleanliness of workplace
  • job will require working in coldstore of -18, protective clothing will be provided.
  • Innovative and dependable operative, picking orders and building stable pallets, well organised with processing order that pallets need to be picked in.
  • Report stock differences on the picking list, general warehouse duties including cleanliness and work in a proactive way.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Candidate Specification

  • Always Adhering to health and safety.
  • Check the quantity and quality of the incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Equipment maintenance, inventory control.
  • Good spatial awareness.
  • Attention to details and ability to operate and control equipment.
  • Experience in meat handling
  • Knowledge in stocking, stacking, packing, critical thinking

  • Flexible & open minded.
  • Excellent Communication and fluent in English.
  • Positive, Committed, and adaptable individual.
  • Flexible to manage changing shifts hours in line with company growth

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience in order picking and general warehousing.
  • Excellent physical condition and co-ordination.
  • Knowledge and understanding of variety of goods
  • Familiar with industrial equipment

Additional Details:

  • De-briefing Warehouse Manager daily / weekly on the activities.
  • Must be open to taking on various other tasks & responsibilities whether routine or otherwise given by the Warehouse Manager.
  • The right candidate must be flexible & adopt an open mind to multi-tasking on the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
