Warehouse Operative/Packer
Location: London SW8
Salary: From £25,500 + loyalty and performance bonuses
Contract: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: 7.00am – 3.00pm (opportunity to work extra hour at pro rata salary rate)
We are based in London, SW8 supplying dry food products (nuts, dried fruit, seeds, spices) to wholesale and restaurant customers.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative/ Packer.
Daily Duties include:
· Breaking up incoming pallets in timely fashion
· Unpacking and storing incoming goods in the correct parts of the warehouse
· Wrapping pallets
· Tipping product into form fill machine
· Helping to clean form fill machine
· Thoroughly cleaning packing surfaces and utensils
· Applying labels to bags
· Packing dried food products such as nuts, dried fruit and seeds
· Sealing bags when packed
· Helping to box and palletise orders.
· Picking and loading orders
· Setting up individual orders when required
The position requires a responsible and reliable individual who is fit, healthy, enthusiastic, motivated and willing to help.
· Must be fluent in English.
· Must be of smart appearance with good hygiene.
· Must be punctual, trustworthy and reliable.
· Must be able to work in a team environment.
Applicants should note that this role is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting of heavy boxes.
Experience of food hygiene procedures would be an advantage though training will be provided.
