Dingbro Ltd. are contracted main suppliers for our emergency services - Scottish Police, Ambulance and Fire Service. Also Councils and Local Authorities, as well as dealing with independent garages, fast fits, franchise dealers, CV workshops and various transport companies.
We are looking for a motivated person for our busy Greenock branch, to work in our order picking team. Previous experience is not essential for the position as training will be given. Fork Lift license is also beneficial but not necessary.
Responsibilities:
· Work as part of the order picking team.
· Allocating parts to delivery team.
· Checking in special orders from suppliers & allocating to delivery team.
· Interacting with other Dingbro Depots as well as members of staff in other departments.
· Assist with incoming goods
· Assisting with stocktaking.
· Assist with all other required needs of the warehouse and operations.
· As part of the team maintain a safe, clean, tidy and organized warehouse.
Essential skills:
· Attention to detail
· Excellent team player
· Efficient computer and telephone skills and is essential
· Organisational skills and ability to prioritise
· Ability to work from own initiative
· Strong Reading and numerical skills are required
· Able and willing to perform repetitive manual handling on a daily basis
Our standard week is Monday to Friday 8.00 -17.30 with alternate Saturdays 8.30-12.30
