We are looking to welcome a warehouse operative in our fantastic & growing logistics team.
In the IKEA world, we call this position a Goods Flow Co-worker.
Expected Starting Date: 18th March 2023
If successful you will be invited to one of our assessment centers on either the 28th February or 1st March.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Hourly rate: £10.90
- Night shift allowance: £2.25 for every hour worked between 10pm - 6am
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews
- We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling & regular weekend off
Gatekeeper
Contract hours: Full time (39 hours) x 2, working nightshift, 5 days out of 7 days, 1 out 2 weekends and between the hours of 10pm-6:30am, varied rotation
Part time (24 hours) x 2, working early hours, 5 days out of 7 days, 3 out of 4 weekends and between the hours of 4am-10am, varied rotation, some full nightshift coverage may be required for holidays.
Goods Flow Co-worker (Stock Accuracy)
Contract hours: Full time (39 hours), working nightshift, 5 days out of 7 days, alternate weekends, shifts are 4am-12:30pm
Replenishment
Contract hours: Part time 24 hours & 20 hour per week, working early hours, 5 days out of 7 days, 3 out of 4 weekends and between the hours of 4am-10am.
Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants for all these roles must be over the age of 18.
Your preference & availability will be discussed at the assessment centre.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As part of the logistics team in a store, you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery. You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times. We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.
Gatekeeper:
The Gatekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all our stock that arrives at the store is to the highest standard. Although we don't meet our customers face to face, we play an important part in ensuring our customers can purchase high quality & undamaged products all year round. Part of this job involves physical, lifting & manual handling.
Stock Accuracy:
As part of the logistics team in a store, you will play a key part in the ensuring a smooth customer shopping experience. Your main priority will be to secure and improve stock accuracy. You will Implement new pro-active routines to reduce the gross invent. You will also communicate and document findings.
Replenishment:
Your role will be to ensure stock is put in the right place at the right time. Filling shelves, pallets, and all selling locations. This is a high volume, commercial area of the store.
