Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) was founded in 1972 as a part-time venture providing car servicing and tyres. Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2000 employees company wide.
To support this business we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing with over 190 centres nationwide currently.
This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative, based at our Winnall operation. This is a multi-functional role however the primary duties will include unloading trailers and containers, putting stock away and some picking for loading.
You should be aware that this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting as you will be required to move tyres around the warehouse on a daily basis, including loading and unloading vehicles.

This role is a guaranteed 45 hours per week, between Monday to Friday 06:00 to 15:15 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 to 17:00hrs Friday. You will also be entitled to 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Additional monthly skills payments are available for qualified Fork Lift, Shunting, First Aid and Fire Marshall. ( Training can be given locally)
