We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Driver at our Peterborough Branch. You will need to work as part of a team to provide outstanding customer service and support the branch where needed! This varied role would suit multi-skilled people who can quickly adapt and carry out jobs wherever they are required in the branch.
You will need to have the ability to work a 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am – 5.30pm (TBC at interview)
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with the Assistant Branch Manager and the Branch Manager in all aspects of the Warehouse / Goods in & out, Deliveries & Route Planning, overnight delivery packing
- Correctly picking and loading the vans
- Assisting in the warehouse
- Answering queries from customers at the point of delivery
- Assisting on the trade counter
- Replenishment of stock on the trade counter and stores
- Timely delivery of orders to customers, displaying a “right first time” attitude
A reliable and flexible approach to work is essential. Experience of driving 3.5 tonne van is essential.

Salary: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
