THE ROLE
Ummah Welfare Trust Recycling Department is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working Warehouse/Recycling staff member to support the charity’s clothes recycling services. You will help ensure that warehouse processes run smoothly and that clothing orders are prepared and dispatched on time.
Main Duties
Ensure efficient loading and unloading of clothing from vehicles into and from the warehouse.
Loading/unloading of all stock and moving it around the warehouse.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
At all times maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the warehouse as well as its surroundings including any storage areas.
Drive a van around the country to pick donated stock and recycled clothes.
Ensuring recycling banks are emptied when instructed as well as keeping areas in the vicinity of these and other banks clean and safe.
Person Specification
Valid forklift license-Desirable
Experience in driving a van-Essential
Experience in Multi drop delivery-Desirable
Excellent communication skills and able to work well in a team-Essential
Take pride in delivering an excellent service-Essential
Hold a valid UK driving license-Essential
Residing in Bradford or the nearby Yorkshire region-Desirable
