Job description
£10.77 per hour, Immediate Start, South Kirkby (Pontefract), 8am- 4pm, Monday to Friday, Temp-Perm, Weekly Pay, 28 days paid annual leave.
Due to an increase in demand, a great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a leading distributor in the South Kirkby area of Pontefract. They employ over 7,000 people in over 25 countries. As a Warehouse Operative you will be working in a busy environment, using your own initiative to get the job done.
The role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Reporting to the Operations Manager, duties will include:
Labelling stock
Following instructions
Working with close attention to detail
Updating IT systems with stock movements
Loading Pallets
General housekeeping
Driving FLT Counterbalance
You will be working within a small team so you must have a positive attitude, be able to work together as a team and be willing to carry out additional duties such as tidying the yard.
Due to the nature of the industry, you will require an excellent eye for detail particularly when handling stock. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Warehouse Operator, Production Operative, Machine Operator, Labourer or FLT Driver with previous experience as a picker, packer, or stock controller. It could also be suitable for you if you have worked in a production, factory or distribution environment. Benefits for this role include:
