Job description
Our Burnley site is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join their team. The purpose of the role will be to drive a company vehicle for the purpose of making deliveries. The successful candidate will possess a 7.5 tonne license, have a Fort Lift Truck License, Counterbalance, which must be in date and ideally experience of working in a warehouse. Ideally you must have 2 years experience as a driver/fork lift truck operator. The majority of work will be on our Burnley sites moving materials between factories. Deliveries will include going to Chester and Manchester and surrounding areas.
Job Role:
· Shunting goods between factories
· Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
· Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
· Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
· Occasional delivers to Chester, Manchester and surrounding areas
The Successful Applicant will possess:
Good communication skills with attention to detail.
Experienced in Warehouse procedures, driving FLT, driving 7.5 tonne vehicle
