PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is responsible to ensure goods receipt, inspection, acceptance and storage of equipment. The position will also require preparation of manifests and dangerous goods freight movements, whilst ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. They will also strongly comply with all initiatives relating to Health and Safety issues.

Details/duties

• Safe and secure control of company, client and third-party materials being delivered to the warehouse facility
• Coordinate the transfer of inherited Project materials from Client to PBS
• Coordinate with Repairs coordinator to ensure timely delivery of fabrications (Pipes/spools)
• Create and upload materials into PBS Material Management system MTRACKER
• Maintain stock/ inventory/storage locations
• Liaise with discipline coordinators to follow up on all outstanding materials
• Receive E&C materials into Gateway/ cross check materials against Purchase orders
• Receipt materials into PBS ERP live systems (MTracker, SAP, IFS) to ensure traceable control of all materials and equipment
• Shipment and receipt of all goods ensuring correct paperwork, faults/failure reports are completed
• Manifest materials for shipment
• Packing containers, including cargo summary and sea fastening for shipping offshore
• Tagging and distribution of materials for projects
• Processing backload from all assets pertaining to engineering work scopes
• Liaison with QA/QC department to coordinate inspections as and when required
• Uploading relevant documentation to PBS document system and SharePoint
• Coordinate NCR’s with QA/QC

Qualifications/Experience required:

• Proven oil & gas industry experience in a similar position
• Dangerous Goods by Land & Sea
• Experience with cargo handling and storage
• Good IT skills including previous experience with SAP
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
