Warehouse Assistant

We are a leading national distributor of branded plumbing and heating system parts who operate from one of our National Distribution Centres in Birmingham. We hold over 10,000 products in a 100,000sq ft warehouse with a vast range of products covering everything from brass foundry, tube fittings, taps & mixers, accessories and a huge range of related installation materials for plumbing and heating merchants. We offer a next day delivery service for our customers.

The Role

• Picking items for customers and packing your own boxes
• Picking items for company and customer standards in mind
• Working to targets
• General warehouse duties
• The potential to progress internally
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team

The Candidate

• Possess a good attitude to work
• Show attention to detail
• Conscious of time and attendance
• Must be flexible in working hours
• Warehouse experience preferred

Hours

• 11:15 – 19:15 (Potential for required overtime to 21:15 if needed)
• No weekends - Monday to Friday only

Pay & Benefits

• £11.02 per hour (£21,500 per year)
• Eligible for profit sharing yearly bonus (the more profit the company makes the more we all can earn in bonus - this is uncapped!)
• Overtime is paid at time and a half
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
