Our national network of warehouses has over 4.9m cu ft of space available to our customers. Managing the functions and routines within a Pickfords Warehouse is an important role within the operational team.
A Pickfords Warehouse Operative will be responsible for managing tasks within a busy warehouse, and will respond to operational instructions to manage the movement of storage containers into and out of the site. He or she will maintain the company warehouse management system to ensure all containers can be quickly located should a Pickfords customer call forward their consignment.
This is a 40 hour per week minimum role, with paid overtime.
The Warehouse Operative will operate fork lift trucks and crane equipment to facilitate the movement of containers within the warehouse and will liaise with customers when they visit the site to view their goods in store.
Pickfords is looking for a qualified Fork Lift Truck operator who has some previous warehouse experience, and the company will provide full training to candidates with a positive attitude that are willing to learn.
