Warehouse Operative
Duties include:
· Picking orders accurately and loading vehicles for customer delivery or waiting customers
· Offloading suppliers’ vehicles
· General stock control / checking
· Supporting the smooth running of the warehouse
· Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
Skills required:
· Good planning and organisational skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work under pressure
· Good time management
· Forklift experience (valid licence essential)
· Basic computer skills
Personal attributes:
· Experience of roofing products or the construction sector is advantageous but not essential
· Work safely in line with Health and Safety guidelines
· Physically fit as manual handling of products is required
· Reliable and trustworthy
· Can work independently but fits in well in a team environment
Hours:
Mon-Fri: 7:30-17:00
Sat: 08:00-12:00 (occasional / opportunity for overtime – be clear if weekend work is expected or optional and if it’s part of the salary or overtime)
