Job description
Refactory, part of MYgroup is making substantial waves in the fight against waste and driving up sustainability, Although a relatively new company, our parent company has over 30 years of experience in the environmental and industrial waste sector. Refactory is now driving the side of the business where sustainability and rework, reuse of waste streams is at the forefront.
We take some of the hardest to recycle materials and recover them into all manner of items back for resale. We specialize in plastic waste, especially ocean wastes.
Our more recent contracts with some of the UK’s largest brands means we are now establishing a new work force in Hull. We are looking for an energetic, environmentally driven individual with a passion to make a difference.
Our online and courier-based waste collection system is gathering pace and is set to grow through 2023, as is our online product sales.
You will handle all incoming deliveries and collections, assist with courier bookings and logistics. Weigh, record and report data of incoming materials. Manage stock rotation and ensure material is processed in a timely manner. Prepare and pack products for dispatch and maintain stock levels.
Required skills and experience:
· Record keeping and reporting
· Liaising with couriers and delivery drivers
· Delivery and acceptance procedures
· QR code and barcoding systems
· Filing and paperwork handling
. Safe handling and sorting of incoming waste
. Attention to detail and a positive attitude
· Able to support other areas of the business
It would be beneficial for you to have some knowledge of the environmental sector, especially plastics. The role can be physically demanding and will involve all weather work.
Forklift licence would be advantageous
The role will be heavily based around couriers, parcel delivery and packaging products, experience in this area is essential.
Full time position: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
