The role of Warehouse Operative:

• Picking, packing, and sorting items accurately and efficiently, in line with customer requirements
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, ensuring correct documentation is maintained
• Operating warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet trucks, when required (training provided as necessary)
• Performing regular stock checks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and reporting any discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve daily targets and meet customer expectations
• Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, including goods in, dispatch, and returns

The ideal Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• A valid forklift license is a plus, but not essential
