About The Role
We are looking for a reliable warehouse operative that can work independently and as part of a team, somebody who thrives in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, to achieve targets.
The individual will be able to undertake warehouse operative duties but also be a logical thinker and effective communicator, with an interest in personal development.
You must be able to travel to the site in Carterton OX18 3EZ in the short term, until the operation relocates in September to Swindon.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming stock
- Pick, fill, and dispatch orders
- Maintain accurate records
- Maintain warehouse standards: clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Operate warehouse equipment, in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Support the Team Leader to deliver against all targets
- Ensure a ‘customer first’ focus to deliver exceptional service at all times
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to follow processes and an eye for detail
- Good understanding of warehouse operations
- Good numerical and literacy skills
- MHE / Forklift experience is desired but not essential
- Experience having used warehouse IT systems is desired but not essential
