Farla Medical was established in 2002 and is today is recognised as a prominent UK supplier to GPs, Clinic and Hospitals (Private and NHS).

Distributing over 10,000 branded consumables and equipment, Farla is also a leading manufacturer of over 700+ of their own brand label medical supplies lines including everyday consumables, surgical instrument packs and care products (including MediRange, EconoTest and Instramed collections).

Reporting to the Warehouse manager, we are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Member and offer a fantastic opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic and numerate individual with excellent people skills and attention to detail to store, pick, pack and dispatch of a range of goods within a busy Warehouse.

You will already have experience working in a warehouse and will need to have excellent English communication verbal skills. Training on our internal scanning system and processes will be given.

Overall responsibility

  • Work together with colleagues from other departments increase efficiency, profitability, overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits

Job Specification
Day to Day Requirements

  • Checking goods in and ensuring all deliveries are shelved and stored according to requirements e.g. considering volume, type of product, expiries, etc.
  • Booking in goods – checking quantities and quality (barcodes, expiry, packaging) – training will be given
  • Accurate picking, packing, processing and shipping all orders daily
  • Locating products in right location using scanners
  • Re-stocking shelves and ensuring all stock is put out in time
  • Ensure stock is secured safely and securely
  • Adhering to all H&S rules at all times
  • Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently making sure quality and storage objectives are met
  • Participation in the bi-annual stock-take and recording of stock information
  • Helping other members of the team in relation to different areas of work
  • Cleaning the warehouse and office premises

Experience and Personal Skills Required

  • High school degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in warehouse
  • Excellent verbal English skills.
  • Numerate with excellent attention to detail
  • Remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines and work within a team environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Forklift license desirable but not essential
  • Self-motivated, flexible, able to multi-task
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Committed, punctual and reliable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,000.00 per year
