Cv Hubs & Bearings Ltd is a rapidly growing family business within the heavy goods vehicle parts industry that manufactures and distributes HGV wheel hub assemblies to various vehicles for customers across the UK and Europe. As a leading specialist within this industry sector, we are passionate about our customers’ needs while maintaining the highest quality standards in such a price-driven market.
We are currently looking for a Warehouse operative at our depot in Audenshaw.
The working times for this role will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities for this role are:
- To control and locate inbound stock.
- To maintain and replenish stock levels when necessary
- To pack and control all outbound loads and report any discrepancies
- To work in close liaison with the engineers & technicians
- To ensure all paperwork is maintained and filed for auditing purposes
- To work efficiently to agreed timescales
- To plan space for all inbound stock
Experience, Abilities & skills required
- Previous experience in warehousing and stock control is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- A full clean UK Driving licence
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- A forklift licence would be desirable
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good packaging skills essential
The successful candidate will be expected to prepare deliveries and collections of stock and pick and transfer stock to our engineering department. You will work closely with the engineers and technicians to ensure an organised and professional workplace whilst always being mindful of safety.
As well as demonstrating and understanding the correct procedures for securing safe loads when sending wheel hubs out for delivery, you will be expected to communicate and load customers' vehicles when collecting products.
Salary
Starting from £23,920
A three-month trial period applies
