Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Employment status: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join the Supply Chain department at our headquarters in Shoreham-By-Sea.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
- Unsupervised completion of warehouse operations, including accurate stock movements, goods inwards, picking, packing, despatch, raising relevant documentation, use of lifting equipment, and cycle counting.
- Cross training across all disciplines in the warehouse environment, personally and in the support of other team members, to enable a fully flexible work force.
- Understanding and accurately following standard operating procedures.
- Maintaining a neat and orderly appearance in the workplace
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem resolution activities if required.
Skills and Experience
- Must be energetic, driven and enthusiastic.
- Ability to learn different software and databases.
- Ability to commit to a flexible schedule.
- Basic math, reading, computer and communication skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and thoroughly.
- Trained/qualified in the use of forklifts and other warehouse lift equipment.
Advantageous
- Automotive or marine manufacturing experience a plus.
- 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
