Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Head Office, Glasgow
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Salary: £22,390 per annum

Purpose of Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse team to ensure that all product and machine deliveries for forward transit are picked and palletised. You will load and unload goods, and carry out general cleaning tasks in the warehouse area

As part of your key responsibilities, you will:

• Follow Tchibo Health and Safety procedures ensuring safety of yourself and your colleagues
• Receive incoming goods, ensuring quality control checks are complete, correct booking of the goods
• Unload incoming goods and if necessary ensure that goods are unloaded and stored in their respective areas
• Assist with parts stocking, picking, distribution and stock taking as required
• Ensure that all deliveries for forward transit are picked and palleted making sure they are correctly labelled
• Assist in the daily picking of the next day deliveries and where necessary loading on to vehicles
• Load equipment and parts into refurbishment area and preparing all documentation for the Equipment Controller
• Ensure all equipment is correctly packaged ahead of forward transit to the customer
• Pick associated machines for orders where pre-checked or not
• Relocate goods in the warehouse in order to optimise available storage space according to supervisor instructions
• Be flexible to cover all aspects of warehousing such as returns, repacking, inputting, picking/packing and goods in
• Carry out cleaning tasks in the warehouse area on a daily basis
• Assist in weekly and monthly stock checks by hand in the warehouse

• Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
