Full Time Warehouse Operative Vacancy

We have a full time position available and are looking for motivated and reliable personnel to join our small team at our Rowley Drive, Coventry, production facility.

We are a small family firm with a strong family ethos and as such we require people with a calm demeanour and a strong commitment to being a team player.

Working hours 7.30am – 4.00pm Mon – Thurs, 7.30am - 1.15pm Friday.

We require employees to carry out general Warehouse duties, as listed below;

Job Roles:

• General picking, packing and preparing orders for despatch.
• Unloading deliveries, putting stock away and booking into our stock system.
• Manual handling; Lifting and moving stock to the correct places around the warehouse.
• Helping with general upkeep of the warehouse and facility.
• Reporting any problems and discrepancies to your supervisor.
• Ensure focus and accuracy is maintained so orders and consignments are correct and well packaged.
• Also will be required to operate material processing machinery including cutting large rolls down to smaller rolls, and supporting the manufacturing facility where required.

Requirements

• Needs to be computer literate and be able to learn how to use our sage system for managing and completing orders.
• Be willing to learn how to order various stock from different suppliers.
• Fork lift license beneficial, but training could be organised.
• Good time keeping and general enthusiasm to learn and become more involved in the company across all areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £10.52 per hour
