Job description
British & Continental foods is an importer distributor of bakery products for supply to the UK retail sector.
We are currently looking for a warehouse operative to pick and pack orders and load and unload trucks. Although warehouse experience would be an advantage, it is not essential. However, you must be physically fit and be flexible with working times.
Fork lift truck training could be provided following probationary period, which would attract increased pay rate if successful.
Because we are a food company, the working hours will be inline with order patterns and will include weekend and bank holiday working on a rota. The actual days and times we be set by the warehouse manager
Average 45 hours per week. Time worked over 40 hours would be at overtime rate of time and a half.

Salary: £10.80 per hour starting rate.
