Job description

As a skilled Operative, you will:

• Be responsible for a range of filling and general production support activities, and also Warehousing at Bradford depot.

Prepare packaging, labelling strapping, palletisation.

• Use a Fork truck driving to move product around the site, and to load and offload is integral to the role; hence a FLT licence is essential.
• Working safely, accurately, and be aware of the needs of both external and internal customers is essential. Requires good organisational skills to optimise these activities.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a current Counter-Balance FLT license (Essential)
• Receive extensive training covering all aspects of H&S, Company and role specific requirements.
• Be cross-trained, optimising flexibility without compromising core competence.
• Facilitate the continued improvements of health and safety standards, and Service Excellence as it allows the Supervisor to focus on full compliance by the team.
• Have strong awareness and experience of health and safety standards.
• Have a qualification eg IOSH Working Safety would be advantageous but it not essential
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with excellent attention to detail
• Have prior experience within the chemicals industry would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.
