Job description

The role

As a Warehouse Operative for our global distribution centre in Burnley you will be part of the operational team and will report into a Warehouse Team Manager. You will be a key team player, using a variety of warehouse control systems for all operations including; receipting of goods, picking, packing, despatch and shipping.

Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm

Monday - Friday 6pm - 2am

Monday - Friday 8pm - 1am

Saturday - Sunday 6pm - 12midnight

What you’ll be doing

  • Picking – Picking customer orders using RF hand held terminals
  • Packing – Packing customer orders at packing stations using Warehouse Management Systems
  • Processing – process stock in an accurate manner using the appropriate method
  • Have a systematic eye for detail to carry out accurate and efficient work
  • Locate new products and returns into a pick locations with an RF Hand held terminals
  • Have responsibility for quality assurance and housekeeping
  • Receipt and check customer returns
  • Meeting KPI targets
  • Ensures work areas are kept clean, neat and well organised
  • Health & safety awareness
  • Reports any maintenance or repair requirements
  • Standing or walking for long periods of time depending on job role.
  • Working at pace whilst maintaining standards
  • Lifting, bending, twisting and moving products up to 15kg in weight
