Applicants should be self-motivated and capable of working on their own initiative. Experience in a similar environment is advantageous, but not required.
The role:
- Picking
- Loading and unloading vehicles, including checking
- Using an overhead crane and side loader/combi-lift
- Handling and processing of order paperwork
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Ensure PPE is worn at all times in the warehouse
- Maintain inventory controls by stowing stock away in the relevant location
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the warehouse supervisor or the stock checker
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line managers
Required Skills:
- Have a positive, can do attitude
- Be punctual and reliable
- Capable of working on your own initiative, as well as within a team
- Have a good understanding of health and safety
- Experience in a similar environment is advantageous, but not required
Hours: Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week.
Salary: Depends On Experience
