An excellent opportunity for a hard-working individual to join a well-established company based in Hemel Hempstead.
They are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to learn all aspects of their operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive supplier deliveries, checking stock received against delivery notes for accuracy and to check the stock is within expiry dates.
- Prepare customer orders ready for daily dispatch, using suitable packaging for size and weight of products.
- Maintain correct storage of goods, ensuring that materials that are moving out or coming in are in proper condition without any damage and can be easily located, using warehouse system appropriately.
- Keep Warehouse clean and tidy to provide a safety working environment
- Maintain accurate, timely records, e.g. daily checklist for fork lift trucks.
- Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all time.
- Willing to carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
· Previous Warehouse experience or
· Vocational qualification in storage and warehousing.
· Fork Lift Truck license an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge:
· Manual handling processes; other relevant health and safety processes
Skills:
· Good interpersonal skills
· Listening skills.
· Completes and finishes tasks
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Attention to detail.
· IT skills, experience of databases desirable

Salary: £22,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
