We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Birmingham.

Duties:

To follow company operating procedures under the guidelines of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
To assist with maintaining the company's policy on quality.
To ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to at all times in the warehouse area.
To maintain the readiness of the warehouse equipment and ensure yard/access areas are always kept in a state of tidiness and cleanliness.
To complete all goods inwards and outwards in line with company procedures.
To process the efficient progress of pick notes and prompt despatch of goods.
To ensure that goods are correctly selected, handled carefully and efficiently, and packed according to the contracts departments’ instructions.
To ensure that all stores records and procedures are maintained in line with company policy.
To ensure logging of customer queries.
To process the provision of information relating to credit note authorisation.
Stocktaking as required by the operations manager.
To assist in the packing of goods for export shipment.
To action the creation, completion and storage of all documentation relevant to goods for export shipment.
To maintain a safe working environment, ensuring gang ways are kept clear, and stock stored in designated areas.
To exercise care in the handling and lifting of goods, using the equipment provided where appropriate.

Working Hours
8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
