Job description
Main Duties:
- To accurately follow ISO9001 procedures at all times
- To attend work on time each day to enable you to start work promptly at agreed start time
- Accurately follow ISO9001 procedures at all times
- Organise and maintain a clean, clear working environment in the warehouse, ensuring safe and easy access to all products for packing, as well as raw ingredients for the factory.
- Maximise space in the warehouse and safely move any newly manufactured goods into their designated warehouse positions
- Rotation of stock (FIFO)
- Extend exceptional customer service when picking ingredients for the factory
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of all ingredients, products and convey brand awareness at all times
- Use the Goods In area effectively
- Check incoming deliveries, detach the delivery note and confirm the goods are present before giving your signature, then refer the goods in to the Purchasing Executive. Check dates and batch numbers of all ingredients that are delivered.
- Health and safety compliance.
- Maintain good communication between departments
- Administration and reporting as necessary
You will be required to drive a fork lift truck as part of your job role. Therefore a current fork lift licence is essential. Alternatively you are required to attend fork lift driver training and achieve your licence (any training will be paid for by the company).
Knowledge and Skills required:
Be familiar with every aspect of the despatch/warehouse area
- Basic understanding of ISO9001 practice
- Safety awareness
- Good mathematics and numeracy
- Excellent concentration to ensure accuracy when picking orders
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience essential.
Fork lift licence or be prepared to attend training to achieve your fork lift licence.
