We are recruiting for a warehouse operative to join our fast-growing Milton Keynes team on a 39hr per week permanent basis. Training will be provided therefore, if you are looking for a new challenge in a fast paced environment we have the job for you! This role is based at our external warehouse: 3rd Avenue, Denbigh West MK1 1DH

CONTRACT & AVAILABILITY
IKEA is a Living Wage Foundation Employer
£11.45 per hour, an additional £1.50 per hour once trained on forklifts.

39hrs per week working 5 days over 7 with every 2nd weekend off. Shifts will be between the hours of 7am till 10pm.
Forklift experience is preferred for this role however it is not essential as training will be provided.

Start date will be 27th of May 2023.

Due to health and safety reasons all applicants require to be over the age of 18yrs old.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As part of the logistics team in a store, you will have the customers at heart, you will be picking and preparing large volumes of orders for both online & in store collection or delivery.

This role is fast paced, manual lifting with a high volume of walking needed.

Your daily duties will be receiving stock, picking, checking order accuracy, and preparing orders for delivery.



You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times. A good level of IT skills would be required.

We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.
