Sofa Club is the UK's fastest-growing sofa brand, and we're on a mission to perfect our Warehouse & Delivery operations. As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you'll be the boots on the ground, responsible for tackling daily challenges, fine-tuning processes, and ensuring our service levels soar.
Responsibilities
:In this role, you'll be the anchor of our warehouse operations. Beyond your current responsibilities, we're counting on you to:
Hands-On Support: Lead by example with your sleeves rolled up. There will be lots of physical labour, from lifting sofas to organising storage efficiently.
Quick Fixes: Address immediate issues that crop up during picking and putting away, finding on-the-spot solutions to keep improving; it may involve repackaging a damaged box or checking labels to ensure correct placement.
Team Collaboration: Some of your team is located 100 miles away, so they'll be sending requests for physical stock checks. Clear communication is essential to ensure everyone is aligned.
Returns Management: Take charge of the returns process, making sure it's seamless and hassle-free for both our customers and internal teams. Process and rework stock as it comes back.
Expectations:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A solid background in warehouse operations, so you understand the nitty-gritty of the job. The ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving items. A knack for thinking on your feet and finding solutions in real-time. A keen eye for detail to spot potential issues before they escalate. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both the warehouse team and HQ effectively. Flexibility to adapt to changes and the ever-changing pace of the warehouse environment.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
