Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Be the Driving Force Behind Sofa Club's Warehouse Efficiency!

Are you ready to dive into the heart of Sofa Club's operations? We're seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to be the go-to problem solver at our third-party logistics partner's warehouse. If you're physically agile, quick on your feet, and thrive in a bustling environment, this role is tailor-made for you.

About Us
Sofa Club is the UK's fastest-growing sofa brand, and we're on a mission to perfect our Warehouse & Delivery operations. As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you'll be the boots on the ground, responsible for tackling daily challenges, fine-tuning processes, and ensuring our service levels soar.

Responsibilities

:In this role, you'll be the anchor of our warehouse operations. Beyond your current responsibilities, we're counting on you to:

Hands-On Support: Lead by example with your sleeves rolled up. There will be lots of physical labour, from lifting sofas to organising storage efficiently.

Quick Fixes: Address immediate issues that crop up during picking and putting away, finding on-the-spot solutions to keep improving; it may involve repackaging a damaged box or checking labels to ensure correct placement.

Team Collaboration: Some of your team is located 100 miles away, so they'll be sending requests for physical stock checks. Clear communication is essential to ensure everyone is aligned.

Returns Management: Take charge of the returns process, making sure it's seamless and hassle-free for both our customers and internal teams. Process and rework stock as it comes back.

Expectations:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

A solid background in warehouse operations, so you understand the nitty-gritty of the job. The ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving items. A knack for thinking on your feet and finding solutions in real-time. A keen eye for detail to spot potential issues before they escalate. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with both the warehouse team and HQ effectively. Flexibility to adapt to changes and the ever-changing pace of the warehouse environment.

If you're ready to lead by example, solve challenges, and drive improvements in our warehouse & delivery operations, we invite you to apply.

Join us in shaping a more efficient operations future. Apply today!
