The client is a leading distributor of electrical and manufactured components. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced warehouse operations manager to join their team in the Northampton / Bedford area.
Your role will be to manage a team of 60 operatives across a 24 / 5 day operation. The site is fully manual and requires a hands-on operational leader that supports across all areas of the warehouse, helping to deliver against SLA’s whilst developing a supportive and inclusive working environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong warehousing operational background and, applicants with experience of multi-site roles and warehouse / operational start-ups would be at a distinct advantage. Experience in transport management (or a CPC) would also be advantageous though not essential.
Our client will open a second warehouse (2024) in the North West and as such, the successful candidate will support in the commission, recruitment and start-up of this new facility. If you have the multi-site operational warehousing experience, have worked in warehouse start-up environments and possess the passion to deliver real change by leading teams from the front by coaching and mentoring, then we would like to hear from you asap.
