Warehouse / Materials Control roles

Aberdeen - Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 home working)

12 months contract

OUTSIDE IR35 to Limited Company

Please advise which role is most appropriate, if not all:

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
1 position
£22 - 27 p/hr
·To provide professional warehousing supervision as part of the Supply Chain Team. To plan, organize and execute and/or supervise all warehouse activities to assure on time goods inwards processing, receipting, long and short term storage, picking, packing and shipping of all materials in coordination with platforms/sites and user departments (e.g. Project or Operations Materials Control)
·Management of materials receipt, storage, issues, related documentation
·Management and supervision of warehouse staff
·Materials data update in computerized materials system – Receipts and manifests
·Co-ordinate load list for shipping materials
·Manage the receiving and manifesting of materials outgoing and inbound.
·Communicate with PMC on load out schedule and back load.
·Control of container hire & transport for outgoing materials
·Control all customs documentation for all incoming and outgoing goods.
·Guiding and training the subcontractor staff for material handling
·Co-ordinates with procurement/projects/materials control for all warehousing matters
·Collect all necessary information on the materials being received such as shipping notifications, packing lists MTC’s and Inspection Release Certificates and coordinate necessary activities to receive material at warehouse.
·Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including HMRC, COSHH, IDMG and IATA
·Ensue that materials and equipment are correctly prepared for either sea or air transport.
·Ensure all containers are packed in accordance with O&GUK guidelines.
·Liaise with procurement/materials controllers for the speedy dispatch of materials.
·Inspection of received consignment documents against related Purchase Order
·Consignments unloading in assigned area(s)
·Received Items quantities and specification verification.
·Prepare Overage, Shortage, Non-conformance, and Damage reports, if any, and follow up for resolution with procurement/material control
·Arrange to locate the received materials as per their nature.
·Carry out and monitor preservation of materials in stock as per prescribed procedures for preservation and/or according to vendor requirements.
·Arrange to issue / transfer materials as required after authorization verification.
·Update materials inventory system after receiving, issuing and location changes for the materials.
·Co-ordinate with both the external auditors (Client) as well as internal auditors for the scheduling of the audit and completion of the same. Ensure that all Corrective Action Report (CAR) is closed (in case of Car issued)
·Maintain copies of all certificates, procedures, purchase orders, material transfer notes in an easily accessible location for the audit process by giving proper index/file name
·Monthly inventory to be conducted and stock of materials have to be addressed to all in the distribution matrix.
·Warehouse service provider invoice compliance checking
·Ensure that all HSE requirements are clear and incorporated into the warehousing process.
·Responsible for personal and office/warehouse/3rd party premises safety
·Perform any related duties as assigned by supervisor.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
·Experience in similar materials management roles ideally within the Oil and Gas industry.
·Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
·Experience of using Materials Management and Equipment Tacking systems.
·Working knowledge of HMRC regulations related to the movement of materials to/from the UKCS.
·Strong communicator who works effectively as part of a team.
·Proactive and collaborative approach, able to use own initiative.
·Highly organized & detail orientated individual.
·Must be flexible in approach to work, conscientious in the control of documentation and possess the ability to change priorities as and when the business needs dictate.

MATERIAL CONTROLLER
3 positions
£22 - 27 p/hr
·To guide the Materials Management and Warehousing team and be responsible for all material control activities to support execution of to meet schedule.
·Ensure all databases are updated; materials are receipted, bagged, tagged, and issued in accordance with Company policies, procedures and in compliance with all HSE and any legislative requirements.
·Co-ordination of Warehouse, Shipping and Logistics activities.
·Inventory management and reconciliation.
·Support development of appropriate materials management strategies and plans, including manpower requirements.
·Efficient and effective control of all materials to suit project requirements.
·Management of all materials in accordance with relevant Company policies, procedures, and project schedules.
·Good knowledge of warehousing and offshore legislations, e.g. COSHH / Hazardous, Dangerous Goods, etc.
·Support the Implementation of materials management strategies and plans.
·Ensure all materials databases and project reporting tools are updated with latest information.
·Management of materials between Expediting function and suppliers to ensure safe and timely delivery.
·Co-ordination of third-party inspection requirements (e.g. rental plant and equipment).
·Ensure all materials management activities are completed in time for shipment of materials to relevant site(s).
·Manage the material control and warehousing functions to ensure timely delivery, receipt, checking, storing, and issuing of goods.
·Ensure all materials are clearly labelled with PO number, Client Ref, and quantity.
·Ensure effective and timely reconciliation and disposal of surplus project materials.
·Promote Health, Safety, Security and Environment within the team.
·Provide support and guidance to junior team members and assist with their development.
·Provide support and assistance to other members of the team as required.
·Implement appropriate plans, processes, procedures, and warehouse space allocation.
·Control and manage offshore/site call offs/short order requisitions, plant and equipment hire, etc.
·Attend and participate in morning calls and any other project meetings.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
·Experience in Material Control.
·Experience in Warehouse Management and ERP systems.

INVENTORY CONTROLLER
2 positions
£22 - 27 p/hr
·Managing inventory transactions in Maximo e.g., issue from stock, transfer between locations, returns into stock, disposal etc.
·Focal point of for all inventory and equipment related queries. Liaising with relevant stakeholders and providing information on inventory levels, repair status, rental equipment status and utilization.
·Working closely with operations, materials management team and warehouse team to ensure requests for inventory materials and rental equipment are fulfilled in a timely manner.
·Provide guidance on inventory management processes.
·Ensuring that items and equipment are correctly labelled and that correct materials descriptions, part numbers, tag numbers are recorded in the inventory records as applicable.
·Tracking of all rental equipment from placement of a Purchase Order until return to the vendor and ensuring that on/off hire dates are accurate.
·Validating invoices for equipment rental to ensure the hire durations and charges are correct.
·Cataloguing materials when required.
·Co-ordinating reviews of min/max levels with relevant technical authorities to ensure availability of critical spares.
·Ensuring that correct materials descriptions, part numbers, tag numbers are recorded in the inventory records as applicable.
·Tracking inventory value at an item level and updating values in Maximo.
·Maintaining accurate inventory records of all items stored onshore.
·Producing regular inventory movement and inventory valuation reports.
·Supporting shutdown campaigns to ensure traceability of work order materials.
·Carrying out cyclical and annual audits to ensure continued compliance with the Company’s inventory management processes.
·Supporting an inventory optimization program intended to reduce cost/footprint and streamline stock issue process.
·Proactively supporting development and review of inventory management processes and forms.
·Ensuring that materials under export licensing and dual use requirements are correctly documented, compliant, stored and handled in line with the legal requirements.
·Provide support and assistance to other members of the team as required.
·Implement appropriate plans, processes, procedures, and warehouse space allocation.
·Control and manage offshore/site call offs/short order requisitions, plant and equipment hire, etc.
·Attend and participate in morning calls and any other project meetings.
·Tracking inventory value at an item level and updating values in Maximo.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
·Experience in similar materials management roles ideally within the Oil and Gas industry.

·Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
·Experience of using Inventory Management and Equipment Tacking systems.
·Comprehensive knowledge of Inventory Management Systems.
·Analytical mindset and ability to design complex reports and carry out root cause analysis.
·Working knowledge of HMRC regulations related to the movement of materials to/from the UKCS.
·Strong communicator who works effectively as part of a team.
·Proactive and collaborative approach, able to use own initiative.
·Understanding of a condition-based inventory valuation model.
·Highly organized & detail orientated individual.
·Must be flexible in approach to work, conscientious in the control of documentation and possess the ability to change priorities as and when the business needs dictate.
