Our client who is based in Yeadon LS19, very close to Leeds Bradford Airport is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. The role requires you to manage the day to day running of the warehouse.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Controlling the movement of goods inbound and outbound.
• Leading and motivating a team of 10 warehouse operatives.
• The receipting of goods into Excise Warehouse and removal from Excise Warehouse.
• Managing the whole goods in / out process.
• Ensuring goods are put away in the correct stock location.
• Regular stock takes.
• Working closely with the General Manager to solve any issues.
• Ensure compliance measures are met & exceeded.
• Ensure all health & safety guidelines are followed.
• Contribute to the business and team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Personal Requirements.

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Word is essential.
• Experience of supervising a team.
• The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for some general warehouse tasks so must be happy to take a hands-on approach.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a similar role is essential.

Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday

Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
