As the Warehouse Manager for Vectis Auctions, you will be responsible for managing the flow of inventory at our Stockton-on-Tees premises. This is a hands-on role where your time will be split between physical warehouse duties and managing your team. This will include all inbound and outbound stock control, line management of the packing supervisor and warehouse operatives, and despatching our ecommerce auction orders along with other general stock control and warehouse duties. Excellent logistic skills and a determination to create an organised warehouse environment are qualities required by Vectis to enable us to fulfil our vision to become the UK’s largest, premium collectables auction company.
Key Accountabilities
· Manage the warehouse footprint and ensure sufficient utilisation of space.
· Report all health and safety concerns to the Facilities Manager.
· Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse, initiating and coordinating operational policies and procedures.
· Audit and report on inventory.
· Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives, setting both warehouse and team goals.
· Ensure that the site is kept up-to-date with the latest regulations.
· Communicate with other departments to ensure processes are fit for purpose and products are shipped in a timely manner.
· Lead on team meetings and record outcomes via action planning and review.
· Assist with general warehouse duties.

Skillsets Requirements:
Essential
Previous Warehouse Manager experience of 2 years+
Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics.
Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate a team and individuals, and manage conflict.
Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
Desirable
Previous Ecommerce experience
Experience of developing and implementing operation change within a stable workforce
Please note this position is initially for a 3 month trial period.
