We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The warehouse manager will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly stored and organized, as well as assisting in inventory management. This person will work closely with our sales team and operations team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately. Ultimately, the warehouse manager will ensure that our warehouse operations run smoothly and that we fulfill orders efficiently and accurately.

Essential Functions:

  • Motivating and managing the Warehouse team
  • Organising and planning the workload for the warehouse team, working to strict deadlines and prioritising specific duties depending on business demand.
  • Ensure warehouse is properly organized and stocked with all necessary materials
  • Ensure inventory is properly counted and organized
  • Receive, process, and stock incoming warehouse materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock inventory as needed
  • Perform audits of warehouse to ensure it meets quality standards & prevent inventory losses.
  • Ensure the warehouse & delivery team members are properly performing duties & meeting KPI’s.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the operation team.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (i.e., health & safety).
  • To manage our delivery team and to ensure orders are delivered with our delivery team.
  • Dealing with absences within the team, including being the first port of call for the team when they need to call in sick, holding return-to-work conversations, and ensuring all associated documentation is completed
  • Responsible for addressing customer miss-picks and shortage discrepancies
  • Being a key holder for the business, with responsibility for ensuring the site is locked and secure when required.

Skills:

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Proven experience as a warehouse manager or relevant role (preferred)
  • Experience in inventory control or relevant field (preferred)
  • Forklift/Reach truck Licence is a must.
  • Driver’s license is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
