This close connection to the end rider has given us the ability to reduce the feedback loop and rapidly innovate and enhance our gear at a rate never seen before in the global helmet industry.

We are now looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team who will enable the successful delivery of warehouse processes in a multi-faceted operation. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Warehouse Manager, assisting and overseeing the day-to-day running of the warehouse including having responsibility for the line management and development of our fantastic warehouse team.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in planning, directing and coordinating warehouse activities.
- Prioritise and assign workload to the warehouse teams; setting up and overseeing the day-to-day operation to ensure that targets are met.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to maintain an effective and safe working environment.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employee performance, highlighting any areas for improvement to the Warehouse Manager.
- Identify and establish innovative ways to improve existing work procedures and practices.
- Complete regular maintenance inspections on work areas, tools and equipment, ensuring that any repairs and replacements are carried out.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Investigate and resolve issues as they arise.
- Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas.
- Line manage the warehouse team including conducting reviews and coaching employees.
- Ensure that shipment and inventory transactions are accurate.
Requirements
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
- Have proven work experience in a warehouse environment; preferably across multiple teams for example, quality control, fulfilment and returns.
- Have a forklift license would be advantageous.
- Having experience in managing a team would be beneficial.
- Have previous experience of warehouse management system software.
- Have a demonstrated ability to ‘get things done”.
- Are adaptable, flexible and cool under pressure with the ability to react to a changing environment; remaining proactive rather than reactive, always.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Have technical-competence with Microsoft and/or G-Suite packages, including Excel.
- Love ownership; you own the problem along with the solution.
- Are a relentless self-starter with high energy and passion.
- Have great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are conscious of health and safety and safe working practices.
